Exciting opportunity for an experienced medic to join a leading global biopharma. You will have full strategic responsibility for a broad portfolio including drugs in development, an upcoming launch & co-promote collaboration.

Uxbridge or Cambridge based.
Responsible for delivering the medical affairs strategy for the UK/Ireland affiliate.
Support development and execution of patient-focused medical strategies that maximize the value proposition of company therapies. This includes annual strategic planning and goal setting, launch support and lifecycle management in collaboration with Medical Head and appropriate cross-functional teams and governance.
Work with a highly experienced team including product managers, health economists value service managers scientific communications and the field based medical and commercial team to ensure delivery of brand strategy including evidence generation for the commercialised products in bone and nephrology.
For the pipeline assets you will support the operations teams with the phase 2 -3 study feasibility start up and recruitment activities.
Contribute to strategy development for scientific engagement across a broad range of stakeholders to strengthen external understanding of the unmet need and value of the product.
Lead relationships with external healthcare community, including interactions with key scientific experts, payers HTA (NICE SMC AWMG) bodies and professional societies for scientific exchange.
Ensure conduct of medical activities and brand strategy and promotional materials are in full compliance of all laws ABPI code of practice.
Provide support and leadership of advisory boards and other relevant meetings (e.g. investigator meetings, and/or expert panels).
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
You will be a fully GMC registered medical graduate with experience working in Medical Affairs
Experience of working within or an appreciation of the NHS environment.
Final Signatory status and experience in approving materials under the ABPI Code of Practice.
Ability to lead on Medical/ cross-functional projects
