AX -7183 Associate Director, Pharmacovigilance Quality Assurance
Key position providing leadership and oversight of Quality Assurance for global pharmacovigilance (PV) and device vigilance (DV). Establish a risk-based quality assurance process across the organisation and line manage a small auditing team. Sitting within an established Quality Assurance group of a specialty pharmaceutical company within their global headquarters. Office based to the West of London.

Travel involved to audit partner organisations
Responsibilities include developing and managing a global risk based audit program across PV to ensure effective QA oversight of PV, and Device Vigilance activities. You will oversee all of this function; therefore travel will be involved in the role, both national and international.
Daily responsibilities include, managing and conducting PV and DV audits of processes within affiliates and third parties (including partner organisations and vendors). In regards to partner organisations, you’ll provide a consultancy service.
You’ll ensure continual compliance with policies, procedures and PV/DV regulations through continual evaluation of PV/DV processes. Participate in the development and implementation of systems and processes required to support global audit processes and quality assurance requirements and participate in and support PV inspections and DV aspect of notified body audits.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A scientific degree is essential with significant experience of Pharmacovigilance, some of which should be in PV QA. Previous line management experience is also desirable; however this is by no means a pre-requisite. The ability and willingness to travel is also required for this role.
